Booking & payment

How does payment work?

A 25% deposit is required on booking and the balance eight weeks before your stay. Payment is accepted in sterling or euros.

What is included in the rate?

Mid-week cleaning, a welcome basket, bath and pool towels, and Molton Brown toiletries. Not included: a €2,000 refundable security deposit (returned within two weeks of departure) and the €2 per person per night Balearic Eco Tax (guests aged 16+).

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is from 4pm; check-out is by 10am.

Is there a minimum stay or a fixed changeover day?

The minimum stay is seven nights. There is no fixed changeover day.

The villa & your stay

Is the pool heated?

Yes, the 9×4m pool is solar-heated.

Is Villa Gaspar a finca?

No. Villa Gaspar is a private villa in an elevated residential setting above Santa Ponsa Bay, not a rural finca inland. If you are searching for a finca in Mallorca with a private pool for the peace, the garden and the privacy, the villa offers exactly those qualities: a solar-heated pool, 1,000 m² of mature gardens and sea views.

Is the villa suitable for young children?

Yes. A travel cot, high chair, pushchair and playpen are available on request, the garden is fenced, and the pool water is solar-warmed.

Can we work from the villa?

Comfortably: high-speed WiFi of 500+ Mbps throughout the villa.

How do eight guests sleep?

Four king bedrooms, one convertible to twin beds. The master suite is on the ground floor, with its own dressing room and en-suite.

Getting there & around

Do we need a car?

Most guests choose to have one. Santa Ponsa is a pleasant 20–30 minute walk away, although the final stretch back to the villa is uphill. A car makes trips to the beach, restaurants, marinas and the rest of Mallorca much easier. Private parking and a carport are available on site.

How far are the beach, Palma and the airport?

Santa Ponsa Bay is a short drive; Palma is approximately 20–30 minutes by car, depending on traffic; Palma airport is about 25 minutes; three golf courses are minutes away.

Where do we shop and eat?

A large Eroski supermarket and a local bakery are a short drive away, with restaurants in Santa Ponsa and at the marinas of Port Portals and Port Adriano.

Is smoking allowed, or can we bring a pet?

The villa is non-smoking and pets are not allowed.
