Palma, twenty to thirty minutes down the coast road
The old town, the cathedral, and the restaurant terraces of Palma are a short drive away for the days you want more than the villa. Closer still: the marinas at Port Portals, Port Adriano and Port Nautico, near enough for an evening out.
Palma airport is about twenty-five minutes away, so the gap between landing and the first swim is short. Private parking and a carport are on site, which means a hire car can stay with you for the whole week rather than being a daily decision.
Most guests choose to have a car. Santa Ponsa is a pleasant twenty- to thirty-minute walk away, although the final stretch back to the villa is uphill. That elevated setting is also part of what makes Villa Gaspar special: open views across the bay, a sense of privacy, and quiet evenings above the town. With a car, the three golf courses, the marinas and Palma itself all sit inside a half-hour, and the rest of the island opens up from there: the Tramuntana villages inland, the coast road in either direction, and the markets that are worth setting an early alarm for.
